My Speech 2020

 

Here is my speech that I have been working on for the last 2 weeks. Ethan was videoing everyone's speech. The class was listening to it, and my teacher Mr Milne was marking it. I hope I get into the finals!

Kiri Allan's visit

 

A few weeks ago Kiri Alland visited our school, and she talked to us all about her job and how she works with Jacinda Ardern. Hope you enjoy!

Our play

Today Mr Milne split our class up into 4 groups, each group read a book about a play, and we had to make our play up by the story 'Don't come knocking here!' My name in the play was Jess.

After we had rehearsed our play 12 times we performed it in front of the whole class in the hall. Mr Milne said that he would give us something out of 10, and that would be how good it was. At the end of the play Mr Milne gave us a 9/10 score!

'Monsters' My reading work

 

Today our class read a book about different monsters around the world, and we had to write 6 fast facts about the book. Heres mine I hope you enjoy!

Science

 

Last week the year 4's did science on fireworks and we studied how the fireworks changed colours. I was partnered up with Max H and Max G.
