My Dad and I were playing monopoly

Today my Dad and I played monopoly, it was really!! fun playing monopoly with my Dad. I felt good when I was playing monopoly with my Dad, my Dad had the most houses and money.

My Sister and I playing the game of life

Today I played a game called life and my Sister won it, she got 10 stars and I got 1 star. It was fun playing the games of life with my Sister.

I created this lego Ninjago set

Today I created this lego Ninjago set, and I got it from my Mum and Dad for christmas. It was a bit tricky to build the motorbike. I thought it was pretty challenging.h

My Sister and I did a bike race

Today my Sister and I did some bike races so we could get our legs stronger. I won 9 races my Sister won 5 races. It was a lot of fun.

My Obstacle Course

Yesterday I made an obstacle,
1.   First I had to climb through one hole in the ladder and then try and go through the hole and then stand on the blanket
2.   Then I had to use only one blanket to try and get to the table by trying to move the blanket.
3.   then I had walk across the table, then jump in the washing basket, then jump with the washing basket all the way to the pillow.
4.   when I got to the pillow I got out of the washing basket then got onto the pillow and then jumped onto the finishing line pillow.

It took me 34 seconds to complete this course.

Coronavirus (COVID19)

What is COVID19?: 
COVID19 is a very bad virus that can affect your breathing and make you very sick, it’s more difficult for people over 70 to survive with the sickness. COVID19 was created by an animal in china that gave it to a human and it started spreading all over china, but now Italy has over 41,000 people with COVID19. The experts think that COVID19 came from a bat.

 How long has COVID19 been going on?:
 COVID19 has been going on since December 2019.

 What do I do if I have COVID19?:
 If you have COVID19 stay at home until you are better. How to prevent COVID19?: You need to wash your hands every time you have a meal and when you go to the toilet, and self isolate.

Math games

Today we played a worm game where you had to have 3 dice  and then roll them and add up the numbers. There were 18 circles with there numbers in them, and when you roll a number with the 3 dice you have to put a counter on top of  that number. The winner is the first person to put the counters on all circle's.

Horu hopu

Yesterday we played a game called Horu hopu it is a Maori game.

This is me and my team mate trying to block the people behind us from scoring a goal.

You had to swing a poi around then release it out of your hands into the air going under arm. At the start we had a warm up. This is a picture of us warming up for the game.

COVID 19 (Coronavirus)

When I came 2nd in kahoot.

On Friday our class played kahoot on kiwi kids new's and I came 2nd place out of the whole class. I got 7 out of 10, and first place got 8 out of 10. I hope you like this picture.

Tumatauenga's freeze frame

This week our teacher, Mr Milne told us our god and we had to to freeze frames to describe the god, these picture's is describing the god Tumatauenga the god of war.

Chuck the chicken

Last week we played a game called chuck the chicken, you have have a ball or a rubber chicken then split into two teams then one team spread out into a circle and the other team lines up then when you say go then someone in the circle runs around and when ever they have run around the circle that counts as a point while the circle team is running around the other team should be lined up then the front person holds the chicken and then they go over and under and when they have finish going over and under when it gets to the back then the last person throws the chicken and yells Chuck the chicken and the you swap over, and the first team to get 100 points is the winner.

Science Day

On Friday it is called Free Fun Friday, and this was when my friend and I were doing science about things that can fly, in this science experiment we had to make 4 wings that can fly. We also had to put cards into groups of whatever we wanted. Here is a picture.

St Johns Amulance

Last week St Johns came to our school to talk about how to bandage an arm or leg when it is bleeding, to patch it up. They gave us a cardboard phone and a laminated piece of paper with question they will ask you when someone is in trouble and they need help.
