Today our whole class went to the Museum to learn more about Hue and Maori instruments, we also did a quiz to find out which instrument sound equals which. I sadly got 1/6 because I was single and only had 1 brain to work with so I am going to start working in partners for a bit and I may even write about it in the quote of the week. After that, we had free time to walk around and look at whatever we wanted to look at. I first went with Brooklyn to go and check the captain's cabin/Star of Canada out and go upstairs. But I couldn't because Sam and Winston were scaring me! I tried looking for my mum's cousin's artwork there because I found it last time there but for some reason, the painting wasn't there, probably because she lives in Aukland and she would have to ship her artwork the whole way to Gisborne. After that, we had a look at Whylies College where an old school was held a long time ago and is known to be the oldest living house in all of Gisborne. After that, we left the Museum and I rated Max's Magical Museum Trip a 9/10.
Hi Max,
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your Magical Museum trip recount, was amused when you wrote that you only had one brain to work with during the quiz. I'm sure you will be able to improve your score when you work with a partner.
I hope you enjoyed Wyllies cottage, I must go and have another look through it sometime soon.
